Junior SQL Developer
Peraton is looking for a Junior SQL Developer. The qualified candidate will join our highly performing team supporting CFTC Program. This is a hybrid teleworking position. This individual will support research and assignments relating to the development, data operation of systems, and procedures dealing with database planning and design, systems analysis and design. This position is hybrid, must be local to the CFTC DC office, able to work in the office 3 days a week (Wed, Thurs, and one other "flex" day each week). What you will do: Will support team on UAT and production deployments. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports Will work with team to gather input from different groups. Responsible for engineering support relating to resources and facilities management Database planning and design Systems analysis and design, network services, programming, conversion, and implementation support Network services project management, data/records management, and other computer related services Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree Experience developing applications/procedures that interact with a SQL database Experience with SQL databases, best practices Experience developing, deploying, and debugging SQL based applications. Experience with SSIS, SSRS, or any other SQL Server tools required. 2 years of Python experience 2 years experience with RDS, Redshift, writing Lambda functions ETL experience Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python Must be a US Citizen Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Financial Industry background is a plus SQL Developer Certifications AWS Certifications Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
