is seeking a skilled and patient-focused
Echo Tech
to perform echocardiographic procedures for the evaluation of cardiac structure and function. The Echo Tech will assist cardiologists by providing accurate diagnostic images and ensuring quality care throughout the exam process.
Job Responsibilities
Perform transthoracic, stress, and/or transesophageal echocardiograms based on clinical requirements and certifications. Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust controls for optimal image quality. Capture and evaluate images of heart chambers, valves, and blood flow patterns using Doppler and 2D/3D imaging. Identify cardiac abnormalities and document findings for physician interpretation. Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and provide a safe, comfortable environment. Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and ensure timely submission of reports. Ensure equipment functionality and perform routine maintenance and quality control checks. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited cardiac sonography or cardiovascular technology program
required. RDCS or RCS certification
required (through ARDMS or CCI). BLS/CPR certification
required. Minimum 1 year of experience
in echocardiography preferred. Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles. Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and patient care focus. Benefits
