Join our collaborative, service-oriented environment, where you will be respected and valued. What you'll do at OhioMHAS: Provide medication, education, and empowerment to individuals. Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior, condition, and response to medication. Monitor patient health including vital signs, treatment plan progress, and activity participation. Serve in a fundamental role as a multi-disciplinary team member that creates a safe and positive environment through safety and observation rounds and group facilitation. This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 10 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. This position is located within our Central Ohio Behavior Healthcare Campus at 2200 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43223. What is in it for you: Health insurance upon hire. Minimum Qualifications: License to practice nursing as a licensed practical nurse issued by Ohio Board of Nursing pursuant to Section 4723 Ohio Revised Code & proof of completion of an approved course in medication administration. Note: Licensed Practical Nurses who administer dialysis treatment must possess Certification in IV Therapy pursuant to Section 4723.17 Ohio Revised Code.
