About the Role
The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President, Sales for the Western US to join their mission of improving the health of populations with chronic conditions through the power of sleep. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the customer base of direct self-insured plan sponsor accounts in the region, with a focus on acquiring sales leads, converting them to opportunities, and closing new contracts. This role is pivotal in driving new business sales and will have a significant impact on the company's revenue goals and market presence. The ideal candidate must reside within the Western US, hold a Bachelor’s degree, and have a minimum of five years of B2B healthcare sales experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in the benefits sector of large employers.
Key responsibilities for the Regional Vice President, Sales include building and managing a pipeline of qualified prospects, leading consultative sales processes, and working closely with the lead generation team. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple functional areas within the organization. Experience in selling complex healthcare products in a consultative manner, as well as a deep understanding of the Compensation and Benefits function, is essential. The candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be capable of building relationships across various stakeholders. The position demands a leader who is adept at presenting to an executive-level audience, is willing to travel as necessary, and is committed to the company's mission of redefining the role of sleep in healthcare.
