About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Account Services to drive operational excellence and lead a team that is the primary in-season contact for wholesale retail partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for the innovation and success of the wholesale customer service team, leading order book management, and ensuring the team meets related KPIs. This role requires close partnership with the sales team, daily interaction with cross-functional internal partners, and a focus on delivering the highest level of service to wholesale accounts. The Head of Account Services will also be accountable for team leadership, wholesale account service strategy, order book excellence, and initiative execution.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, with at least 8 years' experience in account services, sales, customer service, supply chain, or operations, preferably within the sports, apparel, or outdoor industry. A minimum of 5 years' of experience in leading a diverse and inclusive team is also required. The role demands a leader with proactive and inspirational leadership skills, the ability to partner with sales leadership and global peers, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in CRM, ERP, and EDI platforms is essential, as is a demonstrated understanding of vendor guidelines and EDI vendor requirements. The Head of Account Services will be expected to have the ability to plan, adjust, execute, and celebrate as a team, and to ensure the team's success in meeting the company's wholesale business goals.
