The Company is seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join their team. The successful candidate will be a strategic finance leader with a strong background in SaaS or subscription-based business models. This role is pivotal in driving financial clarity, discipline, and performance across the organization. The VP of FP&A will be responsible for overseeing the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial models. They will also serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, providing data-driven insights, and leading a high-performing FP&A team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in FP&A, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, and possess exceptional financial modeling and forecasting skills.
Key responsibilities for the VP of FP&A include strategic planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support decision-making. The role requires a deep understanding of SaaS business models, including metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, and CAC. The candidate should be adept at translating business trends into financial implications, conducting in-depth analyses, and supporting board and investor reporting. A strong educational background in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required, with an MBA or CFA being a plus. The role demands advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, financial planning software, and experience in BI, data warehouse, and data visualization. The VP of FP&A will also be expected to demonstrate competencies in adaptability, business ethics, communication, continuous learning, problem-solving, and teamwork.
