About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Youth Development, who will serve as the top administrative staff for childcare and youth programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day general administration of early childhood and school-age services, including the supervision and coaching of over 100 staff, managing a significant budget, and ensuring program development, policy compliance, and quality control. This role also involves maintaining community partnerships, long-range planning, and facility oversight, all while advancing the organization's mission.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include ensuring compliance with state and county childcare licensing regulations, developing and enforcing standard operating procedures, and directing total operations to evaluate program effectiveness and staff performance. The role requires the development and maintenance of a structured staff training program, as well as the preparation and administration of budgets to ensure fiscal accountability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in youth development, be adept at maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, and have a proven track record in representing and promoting youth programs in the community.
