About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP, Global Market Access to lead the strategic and operational activities related to market access, pricing, and value demonstration for its innovative cell therapy products. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing market access strategies across the product portfolio, with a specific focus on the upcoming US launch. This role requires a deep understanding of the biotech and pharma industry, particularly in the context of market access, and a proven track record in leading market access initiatives. The VP will be at the forefront of the company's mission to provide curative therapies for autoimmune diseases, and as such, a strong scientific, financial, and commercial acumen is essential. Key responsibilities for the VP, Global Market Access include designing and building a market access organization, developing payer engagement plans, and leading the communication of the product's value proposition to key stakeholders. The role also involves partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of market access strategies into commercialization and product development plans. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a relevant field, at least 15 years of experience in market access, pricing, health economics, or related areas, and a strong network within the biopharma industry. Experience in cell and/or gene therapy is critical, as is a proven ability to drive market access and pricing strategies in complex therapy settings. The VP should be a self-starter, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
