About the Role
The Company is seeking a General Counsel to join its mission of providing personalized and accessible healthcare. The successful candidate will be a strategic legal partner, supporting the company's national growth and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include establishing and leading the legal infrastructure, serving as a collaborative partner to executive leadership, and proactively identifying and mitigating legal risks. The General Counsel will also oversee contract management, outside counsel, M&A transactions, financing, real property, and intellectual property, and will be involved in employment law, HR, and corporate governance matters.
Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, an active bar license, and a minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with a focus on corporate law and at least 5 years in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in establishing legal infrastructure, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex legal projects. Experience in a high-growth or technology-driven company, strong business acumen, and knowledge of emerging technologies, particularly AI, are considered a plus. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
