About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer to spearhead the modernization and expansion of its financial operations. The successful candidate will be a key player in the firm's strategic direction, overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading the annual budgeting and forecasting process. This senior administrative role requires a proactive, team-oriented individual with a strong background in financial management, at least 10 years' experience, and a preference for those with a legal or professional services background. The CFO will be responsible for accounting oversight, management reporting, strategic planning, and will play a pivotal role in the firm's leadership, collaborating with the C-Suite and Executive Committee on financial and operational matters.

Applicants for the CFO position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA, MBA, or equivalent advanced credential strongly preferred. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in financial leadership, expertise in accounting operations, and a deep understanding of GAAP, partnership accounting, and tax compliance. Proficiency in legal accounting systems is also a requirement. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills, and be adept at producing actionable management reporting and strategic financial analysis. The CFO will be expected to lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and represent the finance function in firm-wide leadership meetings.
