This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of hydroelectric projects from conception to completion. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet technical and environmental standards. The selected candidate will provide strategic direction and leadership oversight to project teams and drive optimization of benefit and risk of technical and commercial matters. This position will own project and risk management processes, develop, measure and report the project to all stakeholders. The following responsibilities form the core of this role: Communicating and developing relationships with clients Developing and managing project schedules and budgets Scheduling and coordinating internal and external resources Overseeing project fieldwork and reviewing quality Ensures appropriate communications channels are maintained and reporting schedules adhered to. Key relationship manager for the project. Responsible for routine reporting of the project's status to the customer and internally Sets team goals and provides performance reviews for the team performance Lead Project Team meetings to address status (operational, budget & resource)and critical issues Foster a true, business minded, customer-oriented atmosphere and skill set for the project team allocated across functions Develop and implement continuous improvement for assigned projects to ensure the quality of the deliverables Do you fit the profile? BSc, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related study PMI or PE Preferred 5+ years experience managing complex projects in a heavy industrial environment Experience with developing and managing intricate schedules, projecting and controlling costs Computers skills required are Primavera P6, MS Projects and MS Office Suite Proven ability to oversee project execution and administration, coordinate field personnel, effect cost recovery, and handle technical submittals, manuals, and drawings Proven success in customer/vendor relations Savvy negotiator with exceptional organizational skills High degree of integrity, discretion and diplomacy People, Change and Influence management skills Able and willing to travel 25% What do we offer?
