The firm offers a structured mentorship program to help develop knowledge of substantive law and trial tactics. Location: Tampa, FL Duties: Defend clients in Workers' Compensation cases. Manage a caseload of workers' compensation defense matters, including case preparation and litigation. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and trial preparation. Communicate with clients and insurance companies to handle claims effectively. Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions, with opportunities for trial work. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions and pleadings. Work closely with medical experts to understand complex medical issues relevant to cases. Participate in the firm’s mentorship program for continuous learning and professional development. Requirements: Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing. 0-3 years of experience in workers' compensation defense or related litigation. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively. Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desire to learn and grow in the field of Workers' Compensation law. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Skills: Solid legal research and writing skills.
