Base pay range $200,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr A rapidly growing and highly respected probate and trust litigation firm is seeking multiple Senior Probate Litigation Attorneys to join their San Diego office. In this role, you will take full ownership of high-value probate, trust, and estate litigation cases from strategy to trial. This includes first or second-chair trial work, court appearances, motion practice, and direct client interaction. They are looking for sharp, collaborative, and highly experienced litigators who are passionate about producing exceptional work and thrive in a flexible, culture-forward environment.

Salary Range:
$200,000 - $225,000 / year DOE
Senior Probate Litigation Attorney Responsibilities
Manage a litigation caseload of 25–50 matters depending on case complexity and status Handle probate, trust, and estate litigation from inception through resolution or trial Lead or co-lead trials and represent clients in court for key hearings and proceedings Develop case strategy and oversee high-level legal drafting Conduct and defend depositions; manage discovery and motion practice Collaborate closely with legal assistants and paralegals to execute tasks with minimal oversight Maintain high levels of client interaction and responsiveness Utilize firm’s legal technology stack including CLEO, Adobe, SharePoint, Slack, and Office 365
Senior Probate Litigation Attorney Requirements
7–10+ years of litigation experience, with a strong background in probate, trust, and estate litigation Must be barred in California Proven experience managing litigation from A to Z, including trial Experience drafting petitions for probate and making in-person court appearances in probate matters Skilled in law and motion work, depositions, and client communication Strong writing, strategic thinking, and time management skills Comfortable with legal tech tools
