A nationally respected law firm is currently seeking a seasoned Of Counsel attorney with substantial experience in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. This role involves leading Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice, managing litigation strategy, and mentoring junior associates. The ideal candidate brings superior legal writing ability and a deep understanding of products liability matters. This full-time, hybrid position offers flexibility across multiple U.S. offices. Location: Phoenix, AZ Duties: Draft and review discovery responses, legal briefs, motions, and memoranda Manage Daubert and Federal Rule of Evidence 702 motion practice Oversee and mentor associates on litigation matters Coordinate with clients and expert witnesses on strategy and testimony Participate in fact development, including depositions and investigations Collaborate with trial teams to design case strategies in high-stakes litigation Requirements: Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience Experience in an AmLaw 100 firm or equivalent high-level litigation setting preferred Demonstrated expertise in Daubert and Rule 702 motion writing Background in product liability litigation Experience in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation strongly preferred Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally accredited law school Strong academic performance Certifications: Active license to practice law in applicable U.S. jurisdiction Admission to the New York Bar is particularly encouraged Skills: Exceptional legal research and writing abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent organizational and case management skills Leadership and mentoring aptitude Clear and persuasive verbal and written communication Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strategic legal thinking and sound judgment Independent and collaborative work ethic Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company info DescriptionHumana is a $90 billion (Fortune 40) market leader in integrated healthcare with a clearly defined purpose to help people achieve lifelong well-being.
