No prior experience necessary. We're looking for individuals with great personalities to be the front-line employees of our Credit Union. You bring your positive personality and all training on our products and services will be provided to you.
**Please note:
While we do offer remote/hybrid work for UMSR's hired within our Call Center, those UMSR's hired for our Access Centers are required to physically go into office.**
Role:
In this role, you will manage member requests from initial contact through to resolution while adhering to our policies and regulatory guidelines. By leveraging your expertise, you will empower members through product education and support our strategic initiatives focused on enhancing digital solutions and self-service technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Deliver Exceptional Member Experience • Greet members and potential members with enthusiasm across various communication channels - including in-person, phone, chat, and email - while introducing yourself and representing Freedom Credit Union proudly. • Accurately process member inquiries and requests, ensuring timely and efficient resolutions. • Educate members about our Mobile and Online Banking solutions, offering clear, step-by-step instructions for self-service tools. • Identify and promote opportunities to cross-sell products and services that can enhance our members' financial well-being. • Assist members in opening and managing accounts, products, and services with a friendly and professional approach.
Commit to Continuous Learning • Stay informed about the latest offerings, services, and procedures to serve our members effectively. • Embrace new technologies and platforms that facilitate excellent member interactions and maintain accurate records.
Communicate Effectively • Provide clear, tailored communication both in person and on the phone regarding the features and benefits of Freedom Credit Union's products and services.
Administrative Duties & Reporting • Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports. • Complete all other assigned duties as necessary, ensuring attention to detail.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
Experience: 1-3 years in customer service or a related field is preferred.
Education: High school diploma or GED required; further education or certifications in customer experience, call center, helpdesk, or financial services are advantageous.
Required Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with members and colleagues through professionalism and diplomacy.
Capacity to motivate and influence others, fostering positive relationships within and outside the organization.
Strong negotiation and persuasive communication skills.
High emotional intelligence to navigate challenging situations with grace.
Commitment to professionalism in all member communications.
Proficient written and verbal communication abilities.
Familiarity with Microsoft applications and basic banking technology.
Knowledge of compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and Credit Union policies regarding suspicious activity reporting.
