SAP Business Process Analyst Contract: 24 Months Hybrid, 2-3 days in-office We are looking for an experienced Business Process Analyst to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation project. This is a two-year contract role based in Sacramento, CA with a hybrid schedule of two to three days onsite each week. As a Business Process Analyst, you will work closely with project stakeholders and subject matter experts to document and map business processes that will support SAP S/4HANA system design and configuration. This role requires prior experience with SAP-related projects and the ability to translate business needs into clear, structured process documentation. Responsibilities Collaborate with business and technical teams to capture and analyze business processes. Develop process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation using tools such as Visio. Identify key steps, decision points, roles, and inputs/outputs within each process. Support system design and configuration by ensuring documentation aligns with SAP functionality. Deliver clear, consistent, and accurate documentation for review and approval. Qualifications Prior experience in at least one SAP project with a focus on documenting business processes. Strong knowledge of SAP modules and terminology. Skilled in process mapping, business process documentation, and workflow analysis. Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams. Experience in utilities or similar industries is highly desirable.
