This role will be based in Toronto, Canada, or Boston, USA, supporting our transformation journey in our Global High Net Worth (GHNW) business. Our GHNW business is undergoing a three-year transformation to develop a new technology platform supporting our international broker business expansion across Asia and other regions. We are close to implementing a Salesforce platform to enhance our New Business and Underwriting processes, along with multiple initiatives involving Policy Administration, Compensation, Customer/Broker Servicing portals, and more to build our new digital platform. You will collaborate with various partners to elicit and understand business needs. Your role will be key in recommending solutions, building user stories, and delivering value to our customers. Work arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days from Home Work location: Toronto – Canada (highly preferred) or Boston - USA Office Work timings: Early AM EST and/or evening EST hours to coordinate with Manulife Asia team Position Responsibilities: Liaise with business partners to analyze complex problems and understand goals. Support the development of a three-year transformation roadmap for GHNW. Perform analysis, identify root causes, and contribute to technical solutions. Collaborate with Product Owner and Scrum team to translate business needs into Epics, Features, and User Stories. Translate insurance product specifications into technical requirements. Work with teams to ensure solutions meet business needs. Create high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria. Manage multiple priorities and adapt to ambiguity. Develop and improve workflows aligned with strategy. Support testing and validate system solutions. Identify industry trends and participate in communities of practice. Anticipate problems and promote flexible, diverse solutions. Understand organizational politics and foster team engagement. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of IT experience 5+ years as a Technology Business Analyst, preferably in financial services supporting medium to large projects Experience in Policy Administration and/or Illustration Systems Strong knowledge of system design, analysis, and testing Ability to work independently and collaboratively across dispersed teams Capability to support multiple initiatives simultaneously Team-oriented attitude, willing to coach and share skills Continuous learner with interest in emerging technologies Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Experience in Agile SCRUM environments Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Life Insurance New Business and Underwriting Experience working with offshore teams Insurance industry knowledge, especially in High Net Worth products Willingness to work flexible hours for different time zones What We Offer: Opportunities for learning and career growth Supportive, inclusive, and flexible work environment Global team collaboration and innovation
