Job Summary The shipper/warehouse position is responsible for sending and receiving all materials necessary within our warehouse system. This includes, but is not limited to, finished product, various production components, and raw materials. This job is for you if… You work well in a team environment and like challenges. You like to work with your hands and don’t mind the “dirty” jobs or heavy lifting. You aren’t afraid of working in the elements outside (hot, cold, etc). Key Responsibilities Position trucks within the loading dock to ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading. Inspect trailers to ensure safe loading/unloading operations. Chock trailer wheels if forklift entry is necessary. Load or unload trucks. Remove nails or other rubbish and place floor liner in van-style trailers, when necessary, to ensure optimal product quality during shipping. Forklift operation; handling pallets, molds, product, raw materials, scrap, etc. Training and certification required and provided by the company prior to forklift operations. Maintain an organized warehouse:

Rotate stock Label products for warehouse inventory and outgoing shipments

Sorting and packaging products:

For shipment as kits, or To obtain specific freight rates

Work in the Secondary position as needed to maintain proper production levels, machine efficiencies, and complete secondary requirements of tanks from the yard or special request fittings. Responsible for accurate completion of cycle counts. Responsible for the documentation of items received through completion of the necessary paperwork. Acknowledge and comply with all safety programs and policies. Perform other related duties as required. There may be times when a temporary work assignment is required to meet the requirements of the department. Work assignments will be made at the discretion of Management. Physical Requirements The Shipper/Warehouse position is classified as heavy work. The employee must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environmental conditions with exposure to the following physical activities: climbing, balance, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 60 pounds. This position will have exposure to heights, humidity, heat, cold, noise, vibration, moving mechanical parts, forklift traffic, and tractor-trailer traffic.
