BCG Attorney Search Experience 3-18 yrs required Location New York City, NY, United States Posted on Jul 01, 2025 Valid Through Jul 31, 2025 Profile Job Overview A leading law firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Counsel to join its Intellectual Property Practice Group. This role focuses on providing strategic legal solutions for clients in trademark, copyright, and entertainment-related litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IP litigation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Location New York City, NY Duties Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, memoranda, and correspondence for state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings. Manage and respond to complex discovery requests. Confer, negotiate, and communicate effectively with opposing counsel. Conduct and defend depositions. Prepare and present oral arguments at hearings. Develop trial strategies, including preparing exhibit lists, evidentiary objections, motions in limine, and witness preparation. Requirements 8-10 years of experience in trademark, copyright, and entertainment litigation and counseling. Experience in drafting and responding to pleadings, discovery, and motions. Demonstrated ability to handle depositions, work with experts, and manage litigation strategy. Trial experience is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Strong academic credentials. Certifications Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction(s). Skills Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective negotiation and client management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Potential for additional contingent compensation based on performance and qualifications.
