Cherry Valley Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for someone with basic training who wants to grow in the veterinary field.
In this role, you'll help veterinarians and technicians with handling pets during exams, vaccines, and blood draws. You'll also help keep exam and treatment areas clean and ready throughout the day. This position is perfect for someone who's a team player, stays organized, and enjoys helping wherever needed.
This is a full or part-time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday.
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
Compensation: $20-24 per hour, for each hour worked* Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current VA experience Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401k options Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Personal pet discount Uniform allowance Minimum qualifications and skill set:
1+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting Proficiency in the following skills:
