About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Tableau Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise Tableau solutions that drive data-driven decision-making. This role requires deep expertise in complex systems engineering and a strong background in government or industry environments. You will collaborate closely with analysts, developers, and business leaders to optimize our data visualization platforms and support mission-critical reporting needs. What You'll Do: Lead the design and deployment of enterprise Tableau architecture Ensure Tableau environments are secure, scalable, and high-performing Translate stakeholder requirements into effective system use cases Collaborate across teams to enable seamless data integration and visualization Troubleshoot and optimize dashboards and data workflows Support integration activities aligned with NGA/NRO standards and infrastructure Qualifications

Skills and Experience: Required: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related technical/scientific field such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems OR equivalent experience:
4 years additional experience if no degree 2 years additional experience if holding a non-STEM degree
Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in government or industry, including work with:
DoD/IC Acquisition Process Requirements Process PPBES Process Systems engineering of large, complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments
Experience with NGA/NRO joint integration activities Working knowledge of NGA IPO infrastructure Technical Skills: Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, D3, ggplot Proficiency in big data technologies: Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, HBase, MapReduce, Spark, Kafka, Sqoop Experience with SQL, Spark, and ETL Skilled in extracting, cleaning, and transforming large transactional datasets to build predictive models and supporting documentation Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills to translate stakeholder requirements into system use-cases Clearance: TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph. Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
