Infrastructure Engineer

Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of the IT department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. What's the Job? Evaluate and pilot test surveillance and monitoring system technologies within a large, distributed enterprise setting. Implement and maintain Hanwha and Arecont IP camera solutions, ensuring interoperability with the Verint surveillance system. Utilize the Verint surveillance system solution, including OpCenter, Verint Video Investigator, and Edge VMS components. Manage Digital Monitoring Products hardware and software solutions for alarm monitoring, including DMP Virtual Receivers and Entre. Oversee field installation of IP Camera, Network Video Recorder, and Alarm Panel hardware. What's Needed? 4+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. Strong working knowledge of IP-based network implementations, including VLANs, VLAN routing, ACL's, and 802.1x configurations. Experience with Carrier Mastermind alarm monitoring software. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information. What's in it for me?
