SolidCraft Boats has been building high-quality, custom pontoon and specialty boats since 1999. Our team takes pride in delivering craftsmanship and durability for rental fleets and recreational boaters across the country. We are growing and looking for skilled professionals to join our hands-on, detail-oriented crew. Position Summary: We are seeking a Welder/Fabricator with strong experience in aluminum fabrication and MIG/TIG welding. This role is heavily fabrication-focused --- candidates must be able to build frames, sub-assemblies, and structures from raw material using shop drawings, jigs, and tape measures. Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate aluminum boat components, frames, and structures from start to finish Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on aluminum (primarily 6061 & 5052 alloys) Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Operate standard shop equipment (saws, brakes, shears, grinders, etc.) Fit and assemble welded parts with precision Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications:
2+ years of aluminum welding and fabrication experience preferred Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques Strong fabrication skills; ability to work from drawings and take accurate measurements Experience with marine or structural aluminum work is a plus Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work as part of a team What We Offer:
