IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development, and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide. Our client is looking for a Systems Analyst to provide support to current applications. The selected candidate will provide technical support to other team members and assist other team members in completing SSPs. The selected candidate will evaluate, document, and inform management and stakeholders of the impact and risks of proposed changes, software updates, including impacts to disaster recovery planning. Tasks: Work on System Security Plans (SSPs), which are based on the NIST 800-53 framework Develop applications Work with Treasury teams to create and document requirements Create test plans Update, create, and edit documentation for existing applications and ongoing Treasury Projects Provide content approval and validate estimates for the entire schedule of the project for the Project Manager to ensure compliance with the SUITE Project Management Methodology (PMM) and the Systems Engineering Methodology (SEM) Facilitate requirements gathering/meetings with clients to gather requirements (traditional waterfall and agile) for all IT solutions and to identify impacted business processes and determine best process and IT solution integration Lead artifact reviews with peers, system specialists, Enterprise Security, and other client entities to ensure IT solutions and applications adhere to agency policies, standards, or guidelines Validate and finalize Local Change Board and Enterprise Change Board documents Ensure proper change management for all requested fixes to production systems Ensure proper change management procedures are followed for all requested changes to system designs and system architecture standards are documented Differentiate between defects and new requirements and initiate change requests as necessary Develop and monitor defect tracking logs and facilitate problem resolution Review and approve project management documents Responsible for updating SSPs and assisting Treasury on SSP responses Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Ability to lead meetings, clear communication, follow-up, able to write detailed responses to SSPs Must be able to successfully work independently Must be able to independently lead working sessions with the assigned team of both technical and non-technical individuals (requires good presentation skills) Will provide clear communication both verbally and in writing Must be able to clearly explain technical information to both technical and non-technical individuals Note: Local candidates within an hour of Dimondale, MI ONLY. NO RELOCATION ALLOWED. Position will be hybrid, in office 2 days a week upon start and there is NO REMOTE ONLY option. Location: Dimondale, MI (Hybrid) Contract: 1 year Skills Required: 3+ years - Security governance/risk and compliance experience Systems Analyst experience Ability to take requirements in JavaScript Ability to write requirements in Azure Dev Ops Experience with .NET
