Top Secret/SCI IT - Hardware Position
Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies Warfare Systems partners with the Department of Defense (DoD) and the defense innovation ecosystem to rapidly acquire and field critical and emerging technologies, particularly integrated communications, networking, and Systems-of-Systems (Sos) technologies, to enhance national security and warfighter capabilities. Through a multiagency contracting approach, the Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) initiative focuses on advancing these technologies to achieve multi-domain battlespace integration and resilient command and control. This includes a broad range of services such as systems engineering, cybersecurity, operational integration, and data analytics, all aimed at modernizing communications and ensuring seamless information exchange for the DoD and its allies. This role is part of a pending contract proposal. We are actively interviewing to identify qualified candidates in anticipation of a successful award. Essential Job Responsibilities
Designs, implements, and executes network security maintenance regimens. Configures physical and virtual cloud firewalls. Works with the customer's Security Officer to develop the customer's security program. Implements technical aspects of the customer's security program. Facilitates security audits. Translates requirements into appropriate, compliant, and secure configurations. Fully supports all network aspects, including firewalls, switches, and wireless networks. Monitors and improves network performance. Performs root analysis of information security and network incidents. Develops and maintains complex network configurations. Analyzes network schemas and configurations to make recommendations for security improvements. Uses a structured methodology to plan and implement projects. Minimum Qualifications
5 years relevant experience with a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with a Masters in related field; or 0 years experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field. Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance. Ability to analyze system requirements and develop engineering specifications. Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across engineering lifecycle phases. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical documentation. Preferred Requirements
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like MagicDraw or Cameo. Prior experience working with military or aerospace platforms.
