Akkodis is seeking a
Technical Support Specialist
for a
Contract
with a client in
San Diego, CA(Hybrid).
You will serve as the Tier 1 support contact, responsible for hardware installations, software deployments, and resolving end-user technical issues across a mixed network environment.
Rate Range:
$55/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Technical Support Specialist job responsibilities include:
Serve as the primary Tier 1 support contact, resolving end-user issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity in a mixed environment. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop hardware, including BIOS updates, equipment moves, and peripheral support. Support network operations, including patching drops, monitoring availability, and diagnosing connectivity issues using tools like Netscout. Administer and troubleshoot ZOOM VOIP phone systems, including extension programming and service deployment. Provision and deploy user workstations, using imaging tools such as Acronis and ensuring compliance with IT Asset Management policies. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors, participate in daily huddles, and contribute to Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology or 4 years of equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years in network troubleshooting and 4 years in deploying end-user hardware. A+ Certification and strong knowledge of PC architecture and hardware/software troubleshooting. Pay Details:
