Software Engineer

In this role, you will be joining a talented team of software engineers who are designing and developing a reusable software foundation to build satellite ground system software. What You Will Do: Design, develop, deploy, and maintain user interface software Work with a team of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment. What You Will Learn: Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques. Software lifecycle practices for defense projects. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant software engineering experience. Experience with JavaScript and Angular. Experience developing user interface software. Experience developing software using Java. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer: Experience with microservices in an AWS environment using Docker and Kubernetes Software development lifecycle experience using an Agile methodology Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot Experience with some area of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models What We Offer: Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
