Senior Nuclear Project Manager
We are seeking a Senior Nuclear Project Manager with a strong background in the nuclear energy sector to support a high-impact initiative at a Nuclear Station. This role is ideal for a seasoned PM who can hit the ground running, quickly assess project needs, and drive execution in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment. Responsibilities: Lead and manage a multi-unit project focused on extending field cycles from 18 to 24 months across 5 nuclear units. Oversee post-scoping phase activities, including engineering coordination and vendor engagement. Navigate resource constraints, particularly with overcommitted site personnel, to maintain project momentum. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely and quality deliverables. Provide strategic oversight and hands-on leadership to ensure project success. Skills and Requirements: 11+ years of project management experience Nuclear background Prior experience with Duke Energy or similar utility strongly preferred. Proven ability to quickly understand complex projects and drive execution. Local candidates preferred, but per diem is available for non-local talent. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
