Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role We are seeking an experienced

Senior DevOps Engineer

to join our Cloud Engineering & Platform team, specializing in building and maintaining enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and secure deployment frameworks. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who thrive at the intersection of automation, cloud architecture, and operational excellence.

In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize the infrastructure that powers our mission-critical applications across Azure and hybrid environments. You'll work on automation at scale, ensuring that our systems are secure, resilient, and performant. Partnering closely with development, security, and operations teams, you will create reusable tooling, enforce best practices, and enable rapid, reliable delivery of applications across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management : Architect, provision, and maintain infrastructure across

Microsoft Azure

services including AKS, ACR, Key Vault, Networking, and Storage. CI/CD Implementation : Design and maintain

GitHub Actions

workflows for automated builds, testing, and deployments at scale. Infrastructure as Code : Develop and manage reusable

Terraform

modules for consistent and repeatable deployments. Automation & Scripting : Build automation scripts and tools using

Python ,

PowerShell , and

Bash

to improve operational efficiency. Container Orchestration : Deploy, manage, and secure workloads on

Kubernetes

(AKS), including Helm chart management and container image optimization. Security & Compliance : Manage

SSL/TLS certificates

(issuance, renewal, and automation) and enforce enterprise security best practices. Monitoring & Observability : Implement and maintain logging, metrics, and alerting using tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana. Linux Systems Administration : Configure, tune, and troubleshoot Linux-based environments for performance and reliability. Collaboration & Communication : Work effectively within large, cross-functional enterprise teams to align infrastructure solutions with business needs. Incident Management : Lead root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Cost Optimization : Analyze and optimize cloud usage to reduce operational costs while maintaining performance and availability. Required Qualifications

10+ years

of hands-on DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience in enterprise environments. Expert knowledge of

Azure

services and container orchestration with

Kubernetes (AKS) . Proficiency in

GitHub ,

GitHub Actions , and CI/CD best practices. Strong skills in

Terraform

for Infrastructure as Code. Advanced scripting abilities in

Python ,

PowerShell , and

Bash . Proven experience managing

Docker

images and private registries (ACR or equivalent). Solid understanding of

Linux administration , networking fundamentals (DNS, VPNs, routing, load balancing), and security practices. Experience with SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in

large enterprise teams . Track record of delivering

goal-oriented

results under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Certifications such as

Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert ,

CKA/CKAD , or

Terraform Associate . Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP). Knowledge of

DevSecOps

tools and security scanning pipelines. Familiarity with

Helm , service meshes, and container security frameworks. Experience with disaster recovery and high-availability architectures. Contribution to open-source DevOps tools or automation frameworks. Technical Stack
