POSITION Allspring is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days a week. Location(s): Charlotte, NC RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with the monthly close process including preparation of journal entries with a focus on compensation accounting Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger reliability Assist with annual external audit Prepare various financial reports and ad-hoc reports and analyze as needed Participate in department sponsored projects and other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in accounting required, CPA preferred 4+ years of general ledger accounting experience US GAAP knowledge is required Asset management or other financial institution experience is a plus Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, including SmartView, or other ERP system is a must Base Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000 Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
