Application Engineer

Please note that this position is intended to focus primarily on projects featuring technical specifications, bid phases, and post-order documentation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The specific duties of an Applications Engineer are as follows: Timely and accurate technical and commercial support for sales channel partners and end-user clients Review quote requests from representatives and customers based on the information provided Provide custom solutions for engineered equipment and establish pricing for non-standard items when necessary Review incoming orders and provide technical review, as required, to scope orders for engineering and production. This is accomplished by the thorough review of all submitted material, verifying pricing for custom items, compliance to purchase order terms, conditions, and specifications, etc. Work with all other departments to improve the overall understanding of the business and achieve company goals Assist with marketing projects necessary to maintain a competitive product offering. These can include price rationalization, sales tools updates, generation of product literature, etc. Present technical trainings and presentations to representatives and customers.
