We are currently seeking a Rest API Automation QA Testing Engineering - Hybrid to join our team in Raleigh or Durham, North Carolina (US). Day to day responsibilities include crafting and implementing robust QA strategies and test frameworks for API, Web, and native mobile applications, with deep expertise in end-to-end validation. Focus on deployment automation and orchestration, assist with code branches, merges, builds pipelines, manage versioning, etc. Use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote proper software engineering and bug prevention strategies, testability and security. Actively participate in the development process through writing and maintaining application features and automated tests including unit tests, component tests, integration tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests and interoperability tests. Collaborate with team members on improving team's test coverage, release velocity and production health. Basic requirements include 5 years total experience in test automation, 3+ years experience in test automation with Playwright or Cypress, as well as Rest Assured or Karate. Preferred skills include experience with DevOps/Pipelines, source control, cloud experience, knowledge of mobile landscape, architectures, and good understanding of accessibility features.
