Duties: Work closely with third-party administrators (TPAs), insurers, and employers to resolve claims efficiently. Manage caseloads and provide strategic guidance to clients. Leverage technology to streamline workflow and communication with legal assistants, adjusters, and clients. Prepare legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements. Provide advice and counsel to clients on legal risks and claims management strategies. Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions as required. Ensure compliance with all state-specific workers' compensation regulations and laws. Maintain productive relationships with clients and ensure exceptional client service. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation defense or a related practice area. Ability to handle complex legal matters with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high caseload efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in legal research and case management software. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active membership in the California State Bar. Skills: In-depth knowledge of California workers' compensation laws. Proficient in case management software and legal research tools. Strong negotiation and litigation skills. Ability to think creatively and develop innovative legal solutions. High level of professionalism and client-focused attitude.
