Job Description

Work as a member of a service team to provide both cocktail beverage and meal table service for dining services bar services and catered events.

Characteristic Duties:

Perform functions of a catering wait staff and bartender for service of cocktails and meals to catered events (i.e. set tables, make cocktails, serve clients, side work, post event breakdown and clean up, and resetting of dining area.)Must be familiar with and food and beverage bar services.

Maintain and monitor equipment inventory (china, flatware, glassware, utensils, etc.) and recommend replacement or repair as needed.

Perform cleaning and sanitation for functions.

Able to work on call- flexible and ever-changing event schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Demonstrate knowledge of superb customer service and etiquette.

Able to continually learn and pass on service knowledge to other team members.

Must be Serv Safe alcohol certified for bartending.

Proficient at cocktail production with accuracy but have minimal use of written recipes in public.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Hourly Rate: $24.00

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma required. Must understand all aspects of food and beverages bartending service. Serv Safe alcohol certification required.

Must be fluent in speaking and reading English.

Must have excellent human relation and interpersonal skills.

Must have very good organizational skills and able to work in fast paced environment.

Must be able to lift moderately heavy objects, up to 50 pounds on an on going basis.
