Senior Cyber Security Developer
to join our team in
Chantilly, VA.
Senior Cyber Security Developers ensure excellence in the development and delivery of cyber security software solutions. They actively develop, test, and deploy high-quality cyber solution components according to provided requirements. This role requires a professional who thrives both in collaborative team settings and when working independently.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing software applications using Java or other related programming languages
Developing backend software and user interfaces related to identity and access management services, including directory, access, identity, and privileged access management services
Providing support and documentation in coordination with the development and deployment teams
Maintaining infrastructure in cloud or other virtualized environments
Providing guidance in support of testing automation techniques
Providing COTS software installation, customization and automation
Maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO)
Providing status reports in an Agile environment
Mentoring Junior level staff in software development principals
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields, or 4+ years of additional experience in lieu of degree
5+ years of working experience in the IT field
Must have or be willing to obtain IAT Level II certifications within 6 months of hire
Experience working in LINUX environments
Knowledge of LDAP directory and managing databases
Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concepts and implementation
Ability to create scripts to assist with automation efforts
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Ansible, and writing automation playbooks
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience working in a Dev/Ops environment
Knowledge of Identity and Access Management principals
Experience with SailPoint and RadiantLogic
Experience working in multi-disciplined teams
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
