Latitude is seeking an experienced California-licensed commercial litigation attorney for an exciting in-house contract engagement with one of its large California-based corporate clients. Applicants must have at least 6 years of sophisticated commercial litigation experience from case analysis and strategy, pre-trial pleadings and motions, through to trial and arbitration, with a particular focus on breach of contract and real property disputes, consumer claims, securities class actions, and other general commercial disputes. Prior experience working with the commercial litigation group of an AmLaw 200 firm or a sophisticated boutique firm is required.

6+ years of complex commercial litigation and trial experience at an AmLaw 200 firm or a sophisticated boutique firm Excellent academic credentials from a U.S. accredited law school Outstanding references Licensed and in good standing in California
Position Details for the California-Licensed Commercial Litigation Attorney (In-House Contract Engagement):
Type of Role: Contract Engagement Schedule: Full-Time Duration: 3-4 months Location: Remote, with a preference that the candidate reside in Southern California
Compensation:
Pay: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $170,000 to $210,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
Benefits: Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
