Job Summary The Associate Director of Credit and Asset Management will oversee a diversified portfolio of complex debt investments secured by various types of commercial real estate. This includes projects like ground-up construction, renovations, and capital improvements across major U.S. markets, covering sectors such as office, retail, industrial, multifamily, condos, student housing, and hospitality. Responsibilities
Interpret complex loan agreements for asset management activities. Coordinate with internal teams for asset servicing and reporting. Oversee draw processes, ensuring pre-funding conditions are met. Collaborate with lenders and financiers during funding. Analyze lease proposals and draft recommendations. Engage with external consultants and legal advisors. Manage data with software tools related to properties, borrowers, and performance. Review monthly financial statements and reports. Manage budgets and assess property performance. Evaluate cash distributions and perform covenant compliance checks. Generate asset reports and coordinate with tax and insurance teams. Approve budgets and tenant leases. Mentor financial analysts and support their development. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or related field. 5+ years in debt asset management or loan servicing. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Understanding of commercial real estate finance transactions. Knowledge of real estate transactions, terminology, and capital markets. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to interpret legal and credit documentation. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Team-oriented mindset. Advanced Excel skills preferred.
