We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for overseeing tax compliance and strategy while providing expert guidance on various tax-related matters. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate accounting, technical accounting, and financial statement preparation, with the ability to analyze complex tax issues within the context of asset management and private equity. Responsibilities Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns to ensure compliance with all regulations. Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the organization’s financial goals. Analyze financial data and provide insights on tax implications for various business transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and financial planning efforts. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, advising management on potential impacts. Oversee audits related to tax matters, ensuring timely resolution of any issues that arise. Mentor and train junior staff members in technical accounting practices and tax compliance. Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Extensive experience in corporate accounting, including asset management and private equity sectors. Proficiency in financial software systems used for tax preparation and analysis. Strong understanding of debits, credits, budgeting processes, and financial statement preparation. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in reporting. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
