Senior Corporate Counsel, Global Litigation The Role: Jabil (NYSE: JBL) is a diversified manufacturer and service provider with more than 140,000 employees operating in dozens of facilities in 30 countries. Jabil is seeking to hire an experienced

Senior Corporate Counsel

to be based in our global headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. As a key member of Jabil’s Global Litigation Legal team, this role reports to the VP, Deputy General Counsel - Chief Global Litigation Counsel and collaborates with all legal functions, global business teams, and outside counsel. This team handles all of Jabil’s litigation and claims, including antitrust, breach of contract, commercial disputes, securities, class actions, labor and employment, and healthcare matters. This is an in-person position at Jabil’s St. Petersburg Headquarters.

Primary Accountabilities:

Manage commercial and labor & employment litigation, disputes, and claims.

Develop case strategies, manage outside counsel, and report on litigation developments.

Supervise outside counsel, including engagement, document management, discovery, and budgeting.

Prepare cases, including witness interviews, discovery, motions, and trial support.

Provide tactical legal counsel and innovative solutions for global business units.

Lead internal investigations and collaborate on process improvements.

Advise on business disputes and pre-litigation matters to minimize risks.

Prioritize workflows, make legal risk judgments, and develop policies.

Train business leaders on relevant laws and regulations.

Draft legal documents including demand letters, pleadings, and settlement agreements.

Collaborate on process improvements, templates, and tools.

Handle international matters and travel as needed.

Qualifications:

J.D. and active membership in a state bar.

5-7 years litigation experience, preferably in both law firm and in-house settings.

Strong knowledge of civil procedure and discovery.

Business acumen to communicate effectively with leaders.

Experience managing multiple jurisdictions and complex cases.

Leadership in driving change and managing budgets.

High integrity, ethical standards, and excellent legal writing and judgment.

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple matters.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence across levels.

Preferred:

Large law firm litigation and trial experience.

Experience with international litigation and arbitration.

Fluency in a second language, e.g., Spanish or Mandarin.
