The Inventory Control Tech is responsible for receiving, shipping, unpacking, picking, staging, storage, verification, and monitoring of stock and non-stock items for hospital member institutions. Maintains high accuracy standards and interacts frequently with the hospital data control system. Responsibilities: Examines incoming shipments to verify receipt of correct types and quantities of materials and supplies. Unpacks and inspects items for damage or shortage. Interacts with data control system to classify items (stock/non-stock). Processes items accurately according to standard operating procedures. Stores items at designated locations accurately. Performs par level counts and inputs levels to produce pick lists. Reviews par levels, receiving, and delivery information with customers. Maintains records of materials and supplies and related activities. Picks and stages items for shipment to vendors. Qualifications/Requirements: Experience: 1-2 years in healthcare preferred. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Computer skills: Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, etc. Must be able to multi-task.
