Job DescriptionAbout the Role This position involves defining and implementing the material master data governance framework across Takeda’s global manufacturing and supply network, leading cross-functional data initiatives, and enabling high-quality decision-making through robust data standards. You will drive digital transformation of Master Data Management (MDM) processes, deploying tools such as SAP MDG and aligning multiple ERP systems. How You Will Contribute
Own and evolve the global Material Master Data Governance framework. Establish and lead a cross-functional Center of Excellence and governance council. Drive alignment across ERP systems (SAP, JDE) and beyond. Define master data hierarchies for global reporting. Lead the implementation and enhancement of MDM tools. Establish quality metrics and KPIs, fostering continuous improvement. Provide training, documentation, and contribute to capability building. Define the digital roadmap for MDM, including workflow optimization. Engage with senior leaders, business peers, and IT stakeholders in a multicultural environment. What You Bring To Takeda
Deep expertise in MDM processes, governance structures, and data quality frameworks. Understanding of supply chain processes and how master data connects to planning, logistics, procurement, and manufacturing. Hands-on experience with SAP (including SAP MDG) and JDE systems. Proven ability to lead master data transformations and stakeholder engagement. Skills in defining and tracking data quality KPIs and embedding continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills for influencing across functions. Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing sectors is desirable.
