The Global IT Leader will provide strategic and operational leadership for IT systems supporting Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain across the global pharmaceutical enterprise. Responsibilities include aligning technology with business needs, ensuring compliance, driving digital transformation, and fostering innovation across end-to-end processes. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement global IT strategies supporting core pharmaceutical operations. Act as the primary IT partner to global functional leaders, delivering solutions that enable innovation, efficiency, and compliance. Lead digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, automation, analytics, and Industry 4.0. Coordinate across global teams, working effectively with diverse cultures and time zones. Oversee enterprise systems such as SAP, D365, TrackWise, Empower CDS, GLIMS, MES, and others. Ensure integration of ERP, lab systems, QMS, manufacturing execution, and supply chain planning systems. Maintain high system availability, performance, and data integrity. Support lifecycle management and validation of computerized systems per GxP and 21 CFR Part 11. Collaborate with local and functional teams to align IT goals. Develop KPIs for performance measurement and reporting. Ensure compliance with global regulations including GxP, GMP, GLP, and GDPR. Manage governance, risk, cybersecurity, and business continuity plans. Build and lead a global team of IT professionals and external vendors. Maintain relationships with key technology vendors and integrators. Promote an inclusive, collaborative, and continuously improving culture. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Computer Science, IS, Engineering, or related. 15+ years of IT leadership in pharma or life sciences. Experience with SAP, D365, Empower, GLIMS in regulated environments. Proven leadership of multicultural, global teams. Strong communication skills adaptable to diverse cultures. Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and experience with audits. Track record of driving IT-enabled transformation and innovation. Experience with cloud platforms, data analytics, AI/ML, digital twins preferred. Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL preferred. Familiarity with MES, LIMS, QMS, serialization platforms preferred. Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in Bridgewater, NJ, 2 remote. Up to 25% international travel. The starting salary range is $238K-$325K, based on skills, experience, and location.
