Job Description:

The

ServiceNow Developer

will have a role in developing the ServiceNow platform as defined by the Product teams and guide the development team in solution design and implementation approaches that align to best practices.

This job is responsible for tool and service designs within a technical domain that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include creating infrastructure tools and their integration as a service, facilitating deployment of technical solutions by developing templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include looking for opportunities to improve efficiency when implementing and maintaining tools/services and embracing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

Contributes to the ServiceNow platform roadmap and strategy

Develop and maintain the ServiceNow platform in alignment with the strategy

Enforce platform engineering and development standards

Review and evaluate demand for fit and alignment to products and identify complex features requiring additional due diligence

Provide input to and sign off on solution design for complex features

Adhere to ServiceNow code quality control processes and routines

Responsibilities:

Provides subject matter expertise and consulting services on a range of technologies and assists Technical Analysts and Infrastructure Engineers to ensure that technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards

Assists with translating business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies

Assists in the evaluation of reference models, blueprints and playbooks to ensure they are fit for purpose

Develops software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes

Conducts on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for firm adoption

Promotes an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers

Contributes to the creation/selection of functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domains

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience

Minimum of 3+ years of experience a ServiceNow development and engineering

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification, product micro certifications

Experience with ServiceNow cloud platforms

Designing and implementing ServiceNow products, supporting software engineering, maximizing data processing systems, building cloud-compatible services, and operating within an enterprise IT lifecycle

Experience with continuous integration between ServiceNow modules and integrated applications

Experience with highly-regulated IT lifecycle management, including system security, auditing, data processing and analytics, software development methodologies, and technology transitions

Building and managing IT solutions, including integrating multiple services in ServiceNow or other cloud technologies

Supporting ServiceNow integrations for security, risk, and compliance

ServiceNow platform management, data management, configuration and implementation, custom development, infrastructure management, and hosting

Experience in financial institution information technology security, compliance with rules, regulations, and financial industry standards

Leveraging MID servers for integration and automation

Front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JS

Custom REST/SOAP APIs (web services)

ServiceNow Discovery and other Configuration Management Database (CMDB)population toolsets

CMDB design and implementation

ITIL Operations Application design and implementation (incident, problem, change, service request, etc.)

Gathering and analyzing system requirements

Desired Credentials:

ServiceNow certified implementation specialist (CIS)

ServiceNow certified application developer (CAD)
