Analytica is seeking an experienced

Project Manager

to drive a Data Governance project for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Tobacco Products (CTP). CTP’s mission is to protect public health by issuing and enforcing tobacco product regulations and educating the public about the dangers of tobacco use. CTP oversees the implementation of the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act (FSPTCA). As such, there is a significant amount of data that is both captured and must be analyzed and acted upon across the agency.

Improve cost efficiency across CTP OS by leveraging innovative IT solutions. Use Agile methodology to accelerate the delivery of high-quality solutions. Enhance the data governance process to improve data quality and adhere to data standards. Expected Outcomes Implement new features and enhancements to existing Data Governance tools and services to improve functionality and productivity. Leverage cutting-edge technologies such as Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), cloud-native solutions, serverless computing, and containerization. As a core member, you’ll work with a diverse team of professionals to solve matters, architect nuisances, and come up with alternatives. Primary Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Necessarily Limited To): Regularly interface with clients at numerous levels of CTP - project managers, stakeholders, end-users, data owners, analysts, IT groups, management, and executives—to drive delivery. Manage project delivery using Agile project ceremonies and activities, including creating Epic / User stories, product and sprint backlog grooming, daily stand-up meetings, JIRA board management, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Provide client interface and consulting support to delivery and engineering teams on business analysis, technology approach, solutions, project management processes, and client engagement to ensure successful delivery. Report to the Analytica Health Portfolio lead and manage corporate reporting requirements such as PMRs, project financials, goals and performance reviews, risks and issues, and staffing as needed. Skills, Experience, and Other Job-Related Requirements: Bachelor's of Science in a related field such as Computer Science. PMP certification. 10+ years of technical project management experience in a services consulting environment. Experience managing projects involving cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Demonstrated experience working with Agile frameworks and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including designing EPIC / User stories, sprint backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Experience interfacing with clients, technical SMEs, and project team members to establish, monitor, and perform against requirements and deliverables. Proven leadership and communication abilities. Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain the Public Trust clearance. Preferred Skills: Federal government consulting experience, ideally FDA or HHS experience.
