As the Senior Manager of Human Resources, you will be responsible for the People Operations function within the central HR team. This position manages and develops a team of HR coordinators, generalists, and specialists who provide HR guidance and coaching for our US staff and managers. EF’s People Operations team core responsibilities include HR management, supporting employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, internal moves, employment changes and transfers, wage, hour and pay compliance, benefits administration, training, orientation, and exit management.

What you’ll be doing: Oversee and guide the people operations functions of our central teams, managing a team of HR Coordinators, Generalists, and Specialists. These teams support thousands of EF staff across the US. Support the team through ongoing systems transformation, guiding them through change, identifying opportunities for system improvements, and collaborating with staff, peers, managers, and technical resources to address gaps, both short and long term. Assist central teams and people managers in navigating hiring and onboarding processes, including offer letters, new hire paperwork, wage and hour laws, and benefits offerings. Manage employment changes such as role or classification changes, promotions, inter-office moves, relocations abroad, etc. Provide one-on-one coaching to direct reports on navigating business challenges to support their stakeholders effectively. Assign tasks and review completed work for accuracy. Assist in managing departmental activities, providing technical direction in areas of expertise. Report on and analyze employment data. Manage the centralized exit process, including conducting exit interviews, ensuring final pay compliance, and supporting employees and internal teams as needed. What you bring to the role: Experience with complex HRIS systems, preferably Oracle HCM. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
