Weaver is a national accounting, advisory and consulting firm seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join our growing practice. We serve a variety of clients across industries, including private equity-backed businesses and high-net-worth individuals, with services such as tax planning and preparation, entity structuring, wealth preservation, and family succession consulting.
Position profile A Tax Senior Manager works closely with firm leadership and plays a key role in business development and team development. The ideal candidate is a CPA with 7+ years of federal tax compliance, planning and consulting experience in public accounting.
Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to tax planning and compliance engagements across multiple industries.
Support business development and identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients.
Mentor and develop junior staff and manage project teams.
Collaborate with leadership to achieve client goals and firm growth.
Provide tax planning, preparation, entity structuring, wealth preservation and family succession consulting as part of client service.
Education and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Master’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
CPA with 7+ years of public accounting experience, industry experience, or a combination thereof
Technical knowledge sufficient to sell and execute engagements across multiple industries
Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop a team
Strong relationship management and practice development skills
Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
Compensation and Benefits Compensation range is $141,000 to $290,000 in the California, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York Metropolitan areas. Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. Weaver offers competitive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance), a 401(k) plan, and flexible scheduled time off including sick and safe leave, holidays, and recharge days.
