Director, Global Direct Sourcing Overview We are seeking a Senior Category Manager to lead global sourcing strategies across a portfolio of metals (e.g., molybdenum, nickel, cobalt, aluminum) and energy (natural gas, electricity). This role supports multiple business units and manufacturing sites, ensuring productivity, supply reliability, and risk mitigation. What you will do
Develop and execute global and regional sourcing strategies. Lead supplier negotiations and manage strategic relationships. Achieve cost savings and enhance supply chain resilience. Collaborate with manufacturing, technology, and business teams. Manage a team of 2–3 Senior Buyers. What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred. 10–15 years of experience in global industrial sourcing, including 7+ years in direct raw materials procurement. Strong background in raw materials sourcing and supplier negotiations, ideally in specialty chemicals. Proven leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, Salesforce, and data analysis tools. Supply chain certifications (CPSM, CSCP, CPIM) and project/change management experience are a plus. *Competitive compensation package including bonus and relocation assistance. *Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
