Summary: The Vice President has local and/or regional responsibility for relationships with multiple clients with medium to high complexity. Manages sales results, maintains strong relationships with key client stakeholders and carriers, and is responsible for policy compliance, client satisfaction, and people management functions. Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Maintain ongoing relationships with complex and large clients; act as the subject matter expert on Property & Casualty and carrier products and services. May supervise a department or function. Perform marketing functions for all new and renewal business. Prepare renewal proposals for presentation to clients, as well as new business proposals. Visit clients to review insurance programs or introduce new products. Knowledge, Skills, And/or Abilities:
Excellent written communication skills; ability to write clearly, edit for spelling and grammar, and present numeric data effectively. Self-confident to make sound independent decisions. Ability to interact successfully with a variety of people/personalities. Strong leadership skills. Ability to read, analyze, and reconcile financial reports. Possess technical expertise plus good analytical and problem-solving skills. Handle situations in a calm, courteous, and professional manner. Education And/or Experience:
BA/BS preferred. More than 10 years industry and product line experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
Property & Casualty Broker's License required. CPCU or other P&C designation preferred. The base salary range is $166,000 to $208,000, determined by experience, credentials, and location. Performance-based incentives may also be available.
