About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to lead and oversee all EHS activities across its North American operations and construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the EHS strategy, ensuring it aligns with global safety vision and business priorities. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving a culture of safety excellence, embedding risk management, and leading high-performing teams. The Vice President will also be tasked with functional influence, team development, and championing safety as a core business value. Essential job functions include governance and assurance, culture and change leadership, and innovation in the use of technology to enhance safety and performance outcomes.
Candidates for the Vice President, EHS position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, or a related discipline, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 20 years of progressive EHS leadership experience, particularly in large, complex, multi-site organizations, is required.
