PROVIDER SERVICES - MAILROOM CLERK/DOCUMENT SCANNER Location:
Los Angeles Office (100% onsite)
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a Mailroom Clerk works closely with Provider Services supervisors and is primarily responsible for the daily maintenance of the mailroom. Responsible for organizing scanned documents for retention and storage purposes. The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Open, sort and handle incoming mail, outgoing mail and interoffice mail
Perform prep work required to the documents before scanning to ensure clean scans and highest quality possible
Retrieve records as requested
Assist with general information inquiries from providers
Perform a wide variety of supportive functions and other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
High school graduate or equivalency, some college preferred
One to two years of general clerical experience required.
Classes in document management, imaging or office administration preferred
Knowledge of computers and computer storage systems
Must be detail oriented, ability to detect errors, research and resolve problems
Must have strong customer service skills
Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks
Ability to be a positive and enthusiastic team player
Must be available to work overtime including occasional weekends as needed
Ability to work closely with department staff and other functional units
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
